I think the Dylan song you’re referring to is “4th Time Around”, which he called “a parody”.

It’s interesting that Dylan’s critical spoof of “Norwegian Wood” perfectly encapsulated Lennon’s later self criticism of his song in early ’70’s interviews when he described it as a dishonest song about one of his affairs written in a manner that wouldn’t get him in trouble with Cynthia.
Ah, the world is right again! I was really happy to hear this week’s SNSI. I just about fell out of my chair when “Sweet Jane” came on. And The Clientele, too? What’s come over you, Mod? Great show. I want to check out more of Army/Navy, too.

That song’s on the album I own. He’s got a little reverb on that solo, but yes, it’s on the dry side. I picked up that album a couple of years ago and like it. I wish they’d get a little in my face now and then with their hooks and performances, but they’re really good at doing the music they do.

Luckily, he lost most of the vocal reverb on later albums.
The last album of theirs we have, “Bonfires on the Heath” is pretty good. Live, they are entertaining and their sound translates well. They were also pleasant/approachable when asked to chat – I have a set list or signed album or something of theirs…
I love the story that “I lit a fire…” indicates that Lennon torched the place at the end. Gives it a nice sicko touch.
That first Army Navy album is super crunchy.
