Oh my god, Dirtweed is back already! You’re working fast in The Back Office. Keep up the good work. Tim says “Hi!”

np – The new Costello album, which through side 1 is pretty cool and very listenable!

Who’s up for some power-drinking? I’m just testing out the ol’ comments here.

Tim Ishimuni? That guy owes me money!

  5. Anybody else got a bunch of login/admin stuff at the top of every page?

  6. The Back Office

Everyone will have a shortcut bar on top of the screen. It won’t do much unless you have writing/posting privileges.

If anyone is interested in such privileges, let us know. We are a blog of the people, by the people, for the people.

How do I get rid of the dirtweed?

    Signed,
    Concerned AARP RTH readers

  8. The Back Office

Sadly AARP passed away over the weekend. It went peacefully in its sleep.

The upgraded software no longer allows for skin switching.

All former AARP users are encouraged to set down their clove cigarettes and near beer and instead spark up a bowl of Dirtweed.

The AARP readership is filing a grievance. The tonality of the black on green are too near to one another for ease of reading and so must be separated. Or at least closely supervised. You will be receiving a packet itemized invoices from our opthamologists.

Although that b2evolution bar that runs across the top of the page for registered Townspeople is a bit intrusive, my hope is that it will encourage those with Back Office privileges to get in their more frequently and craft their own threads. The more voices the merrier, as BigSteve’s excellent Kinks author interview today proves.

Anybody else got a bunch of login/admin stuff at the top of every page?

On my own computer, with Firefox, I see the shortcut bar. On a work computer where IE is the only option, it looks like a long-ish, bulleted list above the RTH banner. This might be what 48 is talking about.

  12. The Back Office

    Thanks alexmagic.

For those who may be seeing something that clearly looks “wrong” clearing your cache may do the trick.

If you need some help clearing your cache you can go to my biz site’s FAQ- http://villagegreenstudios.com/faq.html
Scroll down to the one called “You updated my site but I’m not seeing the changes.”

  13. I too may have to go away – the dirtweed theme is hard on my old man eyes…most software when upgrading doesn’t take popular user features away…

    C’mon!

  14. They call it dirtweed for a reason, that seems clear–it’s bad for you and shit like that.
