This is actually a sweet piece by Laurie Anderson on her years with Lou Reed, a piece loaded with details many of you, like me, will appreciate. Nevertheless, I can’t help but take special delight in Lou’s summation of Laurie’s poetry reading, and it’s just as good to read the likely spot where they would have their first date.
Charlie Chesterman from Scruffy the Cat passed away a couple weeks ago. I really like them and I’ve never checked out his newer material. I think Bostonhistorian said it’s pretty good, though.

As an aside, I saw Laurie Anderson when Mister Heartbreak came out. She had Adrian Belew with her. It was an excellent show. I still dig that album.

Can I get a new option in the poll? I’d like to vote for 3000 Boi.
