Also: Buckler smashing the clock is one of my fave “wait for it!” moments in rock vuh-deo history. Though the coolness of the moment is somewhat diminished by the slo-mo footage at the end where it becomes clear he used a freaking *hammer* to do the damage. Still, it’s Buckler’s manliest moment!
Your 7:07 comment was cracking me up throughout that video! The hammer at the end IS kinda lame. Wait, are they going to end up back in court AGAIN?! 😉 I mean, really, I’m kinda arms thrown up in the air – ‘Whot’s all this about now?’ The May 2007 Jam tour? What?! Sigh. What’s The Jam without Weller? That quote reminds me of the Damon Albarn vs. Oasis war, and all the bad blood between certain members of Blondie (cough, cough – Harrison/Infante). They’re egging him on, although I don’t think he’d ever take the bait.
