at the beginning of the lebowsky youtube it looks like he’s looking up at the eagles youtube. nice.
of course, i’m w/ lebowsky on this one, but…
…this vuh-deo, which they used to beat to death on mtv, is proof that joe walsh was not bullshitting around when he used to rave and speak glowingly of don felder as a lead guitarist. he does a real nice job (so does walsh).
check out the facial w/ about 1.20 left. priceless.
The “wristband” part was indeed, priceless. I never thought I would enjoy myself some Eagles, but my best friend’s dad – plays keyboard and sings on his off nights and has the cinema experience installed in his living room in the basement. The only two DVDs that he had when he first got everything installed was Roy Orbison and The Eagles, and I tell you, I really enjoyed The Eagles DVD on cinema surround on the flat-screen.
Eagles horror story: my ex once got trapped in a snowstorm at this girl’s house (who had a huge crush on him) with his buddy. They wanted to leave but her father convinced them to wait out the Canadian ice storm and continuously regaled the boys with Eagles stories throughout the night! They were running out of there by morning!
I heard this story because the girl’s father worked at my old job as the janitor/office handy-man. He was a huge useless tool of a man who once tried to change a lightbulb by standing a chair on a board-room table (he was short) and then (not surprisingly) proceeded to crash through two glass windows into the next room. He also wore one of those beer hats to a cruise ship party that the office hosted one time. Priceless.
