  1. All right, Mr. Mod, as the sole Billy Joel fan here I put my money where my mouth is and just picked a couple more of my man’s tunes that aren’t “Movin’ Out.” Although, to be honest, I hope that one does get played just so I can see you twitch uncontrollably when he gets to the “ack-ack-ack” parts.

  2. Good man, konajinx! Thanks.

  3. Predictions have been updated as of 9:33 am!

  4. Online predictions have now been closed. Crumpled, sweaty bills may accompany your predictions on site tonight! Thanks for playing along, Townspeople. It should be exciting as we tune into the Classic Rock station to be announced tonight! Stay tuned for air time and the link to the streaming broadcast!

As I sit in the Toronto airport waiting lounge, I have already heard *three* of the songs on the betting list!

In slightly related news, Supagroup’s Benji Lee posts a fascinating screed about the sleazy world of modern rock radio here:

I should add that it’s also frequently hilarious. Definitely worth reading!

  6. I heard “Lido Shuffle” today – a Kilroy special! We’ll miss you, HVB, but your awesome idea will be a rallying point tonight!

I salute you all from the Boston suburbs!

We’re waiving to you from rainy California.

“Light My Fire” — how did nobody see THAT one coming?!

  10. hrrundivbakshi

Stop playing the stupid album version, already! Us losers need more chances at the pot!

We definitely have a Saturday Night Special going on: Light My Fire, Hold the Line, Sharp Dressed Man. I’m not sure of the connection with Band on the Run, but PM is a snappy dresser, isn’t he?
