  1. New Orelans JazzFest begins this weekend. There’s not a big “wow” lineup this year for me as it has in past years, but I am still looking forward to the food and fellowship. Saturday will be Bon Jovi (the lady wants to see them) and Sunday will be Mellencamp (I have never seen him, so I’m looking forward to it). Should be a fun weekend.

Even better, I will be sporting my RTH German True Stereo shirt during one of the two days I will attending. Expect a full report…

  2. Have a great time, TB. Make sure to warn your lady that a lot of nerdy audiophile dudes might be hitting on you the day you’re wearing the GTS shirt!

  3. We interrupt this broadcast for this very important message:

Now, can we get back to debating the “authenticity” of the Stones?

  4. Hey, the new Dead Milkmen album is out! So this explains mrclean’s limited appearances in the Hall of late.

    And Phoebe Snow.

  7. Excellent music-related observation my friend Pete made at tonight’s Phillies blowout over the Mets, while Phils’ catcher Brian Schneider strode to the plate to the accompaniment of his selected walk-up music, Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight”:

Perhaps no player looks more like the artist behind his walk-up music.
