During the history of British music from the Opening Ceremonies (I tuned in by chance as the early Beatles were playing) I noticed the absence of tunes from my man Noel Gallagher. Since then I’ve wondered whether he’ll be feted by playing the entire Closing Ceremonies of if he told the IOC to “F^(& right off with your shite games.”

NBC chose a commercial break instead of airing The Sex Pistols and the “punk” years during the history of music segment. Bob Costas is not a fan, I guess.
I heard the organizers nixed the playing of God Save The Queen but chose instead Pretty Vacant. The Queen is not a fan, I guess.
Other than that it was interesting (for lack of better term) to hear The Jam and The Specials.
