Five minutes in the RTH Saloon is all you need to jumpstart your day. Sing along, raise a mug, leave a tip in this All-Star Jam.
If you’re headed to Stockholm any time soon, you may want to check this out.

I was watching Born to Boogie, the T-Rex movie that was directed by Ringo Starr, over the weekend. It was a bit indulgent at times, but the live concert footage was pretty cool. I was thinking that it was amazing that Ringo Starr was once the most successful of the ex-Beatles.
Also, something that’s been rattling in my head for a bit from watching old videos, which is the use of band logos on the bass drum. The Beatles is probably the most famous, but there were other cool ones like the Kinks. It seems that bands stopped doing that in the early 70s. Can someone explain why?
Logos on kick drum heads has the makings of a great Is There a Drummer in the House? thread in itself!
WoWsa! Those young ABBA women were hot!
Saw this article posted as a link on a Townsman’s social media page:

Oh, Mod, you know me so well. Here I am, caught in maelstrom of trying to get documents together to change jobs (gosh, a mortgage seems so easy now) and have been too busy to do much more than glance at the site, and then you had to post THIS!
For those of us who are fans of Abba (on FB and elsewhere) the museum is very old news. Snooze. However, after seeing a Stanley Kubrick exhibit at LACMA this past weekend, one cannot underestimate the power of looking at cool costumes, sets, and photos. The Abba Museum seems worth a visit if I make it to Scandinavia.
What is current news is Agnetha’s 2013 solo album. Here’s the first single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w95WdpE6QAI
I think I’ll not be spending my money on that…Sorry Agnetha.

Hilarious! Please inform us of the back-story of that photo.
They are hosting the UK edition of Wheel of Fortune!
I guess it’s some kind of quiz show? “Mr & Mrs.” I’d imagine we might be able to see some clips of this episode in coming days?
