I hope this year’s Grammy show has some similar kind of pairing of giants and midgets. (Hint: the midgets have the biggest hair.)

I had remembered Thomas Dolby as more detached and self-aware. In this clip he semms to have completely given himself over to his moment in pop history.

Wow — Dolby’s hair may in fact be the stuff of Rock Look Legend here. Definitely in Sib Hashian territory!

Wasn’t Thomas Dolby bald the day before and the day after this performance?

    THIS,is what the All-Star Jam is for…

I just compeleted migrating my online affairs from Safari to Firefox. Firefox has a lot of cool features for web designers and is “open source” and if you know me, you know I like sticking it to the man.

Anyhoo… I just downloaded and installed a plug-in called Foxy Tunes. This thing works with a bunch of music players, including iTunes and puts a little set of controls on the bottom bar of the Firefox window. From here I can play, pause, advance song, go back, stop, control volume… without ever having to switch over to iTunes.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, if I rollover the musical note symbol up pops a mini-window with song name, artist, album and album cover.

“Big whoop” you say. Well there is also a search icon that pops up a window that will let me one click a search of current artist, song or album on – wikipedia, allmusic, amazon, youtube, flickr, yahoo images, ebay, emusic, itunes or all at once.

I can also one click search the web in general, web images, web videos and lyrics.

I know some of you would prefer to put on 4 lbs. headphones and listen to the cracks and pops of your warped vinyl… But man are you missin’ out, cause this is bitchin’.
