What do you do when a member of your band has clearly moved on to another look, leaving the rest of you behind? This video kills me: the singer/guitarist has on his right wrist perhaps the strangest rock fashion accessory I’ve ever seen.
First thing I thought of was the Who on Rockpalast, 1981. Pete’s clearly in his “new wave” phase and the whole thing is really uncomfortable to watch at times.
I’ve seen pictures of the lead singer of the Spin Doctors doing the full on rockabilly look prior to him adopting his floppy hair tie-died B.O. hippie vibe. That look takes a lot less work.
WOW!

That falcon isn’t dead, it’s resting. Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, innit?

He’s not resting, he’s pining for the fields.
Let’s hope it isn’t nailed to its perch….
I think that’s “pining for the fjords.” Sorry for the pince nez, but it’s a Norwegian Blue.
