Mick T. was in Preston’s God Squad on the Stones 73 tour. He played the opening act and the main attraction, but he played a Fender with Billy’s band. With The Stones he usually played a Gibson SG or Les paul, I think. I don’t think Mick played with Billy after he quit The Stones.
I thought about Zooey Deschanel. She could certainly sing old Marianne songs, but if she doesn’t look fantastic with blonde hair, she’s gonna mess up this iconic photo.
Where Mila Kunis can just say, “Hi, I’m Marianne Faithfull and I’m here for the photo shoot” in the movie and no man will care that she doesn’t look like Marianne.
