Fantasy Rock Band League Draft Enters Developmental Pool

It is accomplished! The 5 rounds of drafting from the Talent Pool, that is. Next, we’ll be entering the final stage of the draft, the Developmental Pool, which bands requiring Powerhouse lineups and additional talent (eg, “Oliver” members, backups for Australian and Aisan tours, etc) may use.

First, let’s review the bands as they stand after 5 rounds!

The rules for selection from the Developmental Pool are simple:

• Band GMs secretly submit (ie, via offlist message to Mr. Mod) a list of 3 desired musicians from the Developmental Pool. Choices must be ranked.
• In reverse order of the Talent Pool draft, bands are granted the first of their desired Developmental Talent pool musicians. If a band’s first choice is already taken, the following choice will be granted (if available).
• A second and, if necessary, third round will proceed in the same fasion.

Easy, right? And cheap: Even bands fighting the salary cap should be able to drop $5,000 on a Developmental Pool musician.

Along with the pre-selected Developmental Pool talent, all undrafted Talent Pool talent will be added to the pool. So start combing through the lists and sending me your talent.
