Years ago I wrote a letter to Bobby Valentine and told him that I think he sounded like Harold Ramis, “…which is not at all a bad thing!” He didn’t write back.
There’s a Philadelphia sports-talk host who sometimes asks listeners to name their “hate the face” characters in sports, that is, athletes you hate by the mere sight of their face. Valentine is one of those guys for me.
