The following video treasure was provided by Mr. Royale.
We here in the Halls of Rock Town are sometimes taken to task for being overly negative, snarky, hyper-critical, and all too often, just downright rude. As part of our collective efforts to bring a bit of sunshine and light to the world wide web, we occasionally make an extra effort effort to find something good to say about, you know, stuff that is clearly godawful.
It is in that spirit that we embark on yet another effort to bring some positivity to our proceedings. Please spend some quality time with the video above, then — if you can — please find something nice to say about it. You’ll feel a whole lot better, I promise you.
I look forward to your comments. Just remember, if you can’t say anything nice about this video… please don’t say anything at all.
The children singers reply are very understandable. This is most impressive during the “tongues out” portion of the song.
It’s far less disturbing than the Wiggles’ “Point Your Finger” song.

I admire his conviction. The man is definitely not phoning it in.
I…..I….I…..I…..
I like the Burns Bison guitar.
I like the intro’s eleven seconds of dead air. And nice to see Steve Perry keepin’ busy.
His shoelaces appear to be tied.
It wasn’t nearly as annoying as the Puff Puff Pass song that HVB posted a while back.
Despite it all, he’s still way cooler than Don Henley.
He made me laugh, which after the day I’ve had was a good thing.
Mr. Royale is just happy to pass along this joyful song and get it stuck in some other people’s heads other than ours.
…LOVE IT!
That may be the ultimate Nice entry. I still cringe at the vivid images my mind has retained from that video.
Damn, you are nice!
Yes!
By the way, this song (although not this version) was all the rage with the 3-5 year old set about a year or two ago.
Yup, we’re old and behind the times. Or it took that long for the teenagers to find it.
As I watched this video, my wife asked why. We thought the video was creepy, but it turns out both of my kids know this song and find it really fun. I’m sure I’ve said it here before, but sometimes I think that some of the worst stuff for kids is the stuff that is touted as being for kids. A lot of kids music is either crappy MIDI piffle or else it’s being made by somebody who seems like a rock music burnout in search of a niche for their second-rate talent.
But my son, who is 3, does know and enjoy this song.
It’s nice to see that some old-timers still enjoy LSD.
I showed this to our youngest this morning, who watched it a couple of times and then showed it to his older sister. She was cackling with laughter all the way through it and showed it to Mrs H, who then got our eldest in to watch it. He’s going to send the link to at least one of his mates, so it brightened the whole family’s morning and may well go viral throughout the East Midlands.
Merry Christmas everybody!
