Sounds of the Hall in roughly 33 1/3 minutes!

This week’s edition of Saturday Night Shut-In find Mr. Moderator in a particularly mellow mood. What’s that line from that Clash song, “Who gives you work, and why should you do it?” Sometimes a Townsperson’s got to sit back and reflect on the week that was—and the week that sometimes seems it will ever be. We’re taking tonight’s episode “under glass.” Enjoy.

Count me as one of the Kevin Ayers fans – that track was nice. Neither Royale nor I had heard anything by him before. One of the things that I like the most about RTH is hearing music I wouldn’t necessarily seek out myself. Thanks for a good show!

There have really been 21 of these podcasts? Wow, time flies.

Finger Toe? I have so much of that kind of thing, it took me a while to figure out it was a track on Nigeria Rock Special. Good call.

  3. Sorry I don’t always remember to note the names of the albums on which songs appear. I think I forgot to introduce the last song altogether, which was “Burn the House,” by Flo and Eddie.
