  1. Could I be able to start threats?

  2. Threads, yes, but we don’t take kindly to threats! 🙂

Stay tuned for an offlist message, MrHuman. Thanks!

  3. Thanks!

We were talking about later-career look changes, so Price’s afro is one aspect of interest in this video. The other is that I’ve seen this posted in two places with text indicating that this is a mind-blowing display of guitar prowess. Is it?

  5. Ah man, that’s a shame. Those guys were amazing, somewhat underappreciated, and probably fascinating to read about in depth. I still can’t remember which one is which. Phil’s the thin, stern-looking one, right?

Last week, I posted about a great book that just came out: “A Scene In Between” which documents British “Indie” music from 1980-1988. This week, we found that a film we’d been waiting to be released on Netflix finally showed up: “Upside Down: The Creation Records Story.” The period and bands overlap slightly with those from ASIB. If you are a fan of Creation Records, almost indecipherable Scottish accents, and rags to riches (sort of) stories, you may enjoy this. We’ve been getting a kick out of the interviews with older, somewhat gentler versions of the musicians, crappy hair styles (why do aging rock stars continue to wear the same hair styles as in their glory days?), and performance footage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb9NnA1rrLI

Plus, Slim and I are working on a Creation Records SNSI for some future date. For those of you who dislike TJAMC and Oasis, perhaps some of the other bands may interest you.
